RISING STARS!
The Rising Stars Program is designed for dancers who love performing and want additional stage opportunities beyond recreational classes but are not ready for the full commitment of the great gig DANCE Ensemble. Rising Star dancers will participate in select performances, rehearsals, and workshops that focus on building confidence, performance quality, and stage presence. This program is the perfect bridge between recreational dance and company training.
Eligibility:
Open to dancers currently enrolled in recreational classes at great gig DANCE Co.
Ages 6+
Positive attitude and good class participation
Commitment Expectations:
great gig DANCE Co. Attend their weekly recreational class
Attend one Saturday rehearsal/workshop per month
Participate in studio performances and community events
Learn 2 new dances for community performances and Holiday Show
Expectations:
In addition to our annual Showcase. Rising Stars will perform at:
Sights and Sounds (Holiday Performance)
Big Shanty Festival Performance
Additional Costs:
$45 a month
